Materials

Main Ingredients 1:

  • 250 ml water
  • 80 grams of grated cheese

Main Ingredients 2:

  • 100 grams of rice flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon pandan paste
  • 50 grams of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Cheese Vla Ingredients:

  • 100 ml liquid milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 slices of cheese
  • Cornstarch solution to taste

Topping Ingredients:

  • 20 grams of steamed grated coconut

The process of making mortar cakes:

  1. Prepare equipment for team building. Melt ingredients 1 (cheese and water) until evenly mixed.

  2. Prepare a separate container, mix all ingredients 2 except pandan paste and stir until completely evenly distributed. Slowly pour in the cheese mixture until well combined then add the pandan paste, mix all the ingredients again until it has a smooth texture without any lumps or bubbles.

  3. Prepare a cake mold and spread it with margarine. Enter the dough as much as 3/4 of the mold only. Steam for 25 minutes then set aside.

  1. Prepare equipment for team building. Heat the milk, sugar and cheese until all the ingredients are well mixed and the cheese is melted. 

  2. Enter the cornstarch solution into the milk and cheese mixture and stir until evenly distributed. After the dough looks bubbly, turn off the heat and set aside.

  1. Arrange the lumpang cake on a plate, pour the cheese vla on top and then sprinkle with grated coconut.
