  • 200 grams of tempeh

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons of water

Fuyunghai Sauce Ingredients:

  • 3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 200 ml water
  • 3 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 3 red chilies, finely sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying

How to Process Tempe For Fuyunghai:

  1. The first step we will be able to do is to process the tempeh as a mixture in making fuyunghai this time. This method is an important step that needs to be considered carefully. This is because knowing how to process this tempeh will make it easier for you to make this dish.

  2. The way to process tempeh is to prepare a container. Then put in the water and mix it together with the salt and shallots along with the garlic that has been mashed evenly.

  3. Stir all these ingredients evenly and after it dissolves please put the tempeh pieces into it. Stir and make sure the tempeh is submerged with this marinade.

  2. Remove the cooked tempeh and then mash this dish roughly evenly. Then mix the tempeh with the egg ingredients that you have mixed together in a container. Stir evenly until mixed. 

  3.  Then reheat the pan used for frying the tempeh. But this time, don't use too much oil after it's hot, then fry the dough in a frying pan until it's cooked and don't forget to turn it over.
