Materials

Ingredients for making pies:

  • 15 pieces of pie crust ready to use

Ingredients for making vla pie:

  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 300 ml liquid milk
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks

Ingredients for the pie filling:

  • 200 grams of canned mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 kiwis , peeled and cut into small triangles
  • 150 grams of strawberries cut according to taste or into about 2 to 4 parts

Ingredients for the spread:

  • 1 pack of instant jelly without color
  • 400 ml water

How to make pie spread:

  1. Mix gelatin and water, cook according to directions for use, set aside.

How to make vla pie:

  1. Prepare a bowl, mix the eggs and sugar and beat with a whisk until the color looks pale.

  2. Add the flour and cornstarch to the egg mixture, stir until everything is evenly distributed, set aside.

  3. Take a pot, boil the milk until it boils. Take one tablespoon of boiling milk and then pour it into the egg mixture, mix well.

  4. Once you get the mixture well mixed, add the mixture into the remaining milk that is still in the pan. Cook the mixture over low heat while stirring until everything is well mixed and bubbles appear and then turn off the heat. Allow the vla dough to cool then put it in a plastic triangle.

  5. Pour enough vla over each ready-to-use pie shell until it is used up completely.

  6. Put the fruit that has been cut on top of the vla and then spread with the spread material.

  7. Place the fruit pie in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, serve.
