Materials

  • 100 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 110 ml warm full cream milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • cooking oil for frying

steps

  1. Prepare a container, mix warm full cream milk, sugar, and instant yeast. Let the yeast mixture sit for 15 minutes until it looks frothy. Foamy dough indicates that the yeast is active and don't use yeast dough if it doesn't foam.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and yeast mixture and stir until evenly distributed.

  3. Once you get a well-mixed dough, pour in the vegetable oil and mix again.

  4. Cover the dough with a napkin for about an hour until the dough appears to have doubled in size.

  5. Pour the oil into a skillet and heat it over medium heat.

  6. Prepare a plastic triangle and put the dough into the plastic.

  7. Put the dough into the pan using a plastic triangle and shape the dough into medium-sized balls.

  8. Fry the donut dough using medium heat while turning it upside down so that it cooks evenly.

  9. Once the color is golden brown, remove the donuts and drain.

  10. Decorate your Greek donuts using toppings of your choice.
