Japanese Style Sashimi Ingredients

  • 300 g tuna fish fillet
  • 300 g snapper fillet
  • 300 g salmon fillet

Sweet vinegar sauce:

  • 100 ml water
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 tbsp cooking vinegar
  • tsp salt
  • Japanese Sashimi Pickled Vegetables
  • 150 g carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 150 g white radish, cut into matchsticks
  • 150 g Japanese cucumber/ kyuri, cut into matchsticks
  • 10 cm ginger, peeled, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 red chili, cut into matchsticks

Shoyu sauce, stir:

  • 240 m shoyu (Japanese soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • tsp white pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Japanese Sashimi Sprinkling

  • 3 spring onions, cut into matchsticks
  • 3 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks of coriander leaves
  • 10 cm ginger, peeled into matchsticks
