  • tablespoon fish sauce (nam pla)
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups jasmine rice, then cook
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • teaspoon fish sauce
  • teaspoon black/white pepper
  • White sugar to taste
  • 1 cucumber, peel the skin and then slice thinly

How to Make Kao Phat Kai

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan until hot, using medium heat
  2. Add the chicken to the skillet until it changes color, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add tablespoon fish sauce, for meat. Once cooked then remove from the pan and set aside.
